Sao Paolo's Poko Pano brand burst onto the swimwear scene in 2002, making its debut in the city's fashion week. With a unique style all of its own, it has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most stylish designer swimwear collections around.

After years of making bikinis for her dolls as a hobby, Paola Robba established the company in 1990, producing a life-size swimwear collection for friends and adults to enjoy. Word quickly spread and soon Robba was producing the Poko Pano range on a mass scale.

The 2010 Poko Pano Collection

The inspiration for the Poko Pano 2010 collection comes from the 50th anniversary of the Bossa Nova music movement. Mixing elegant patterns with 1950s retro chic, the collection includes a host of striking colours, strong tones and organic elements such as wood. Volume and transparency is provided by using unusual and luxurious materials.
