Beach Bunny 2013 has landed

You’ll find Beach Bunny swimwear gracing the beautiful bodies of the world’s sexiest women. But if you want to find the woman who designed these drop-dead gorgeous suits, you’ll have to look inside her Orange County, CA office. There, behind the towering stacks of fabric swatches and hardware samples, founder and designer Angela Chittenden is hard at work on her next best-selling creation. read more...

The brains — and body — behind Beach Bunny, Angela’s passion for couture kicked in at an early age. “Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved fashion and swimwear,” she explains, “So being able to combine the two is a dream come true for me.”

As a former swimsuit model, Angela had the chance to wear hundreds of different suits. “And none of them ever felt right,” she recalls. “Either they were too conservative with too much coverage, or they weren’t very classy. There was nothing out there that was sexy and elegant. So I decided to design my own.”

Famous faces in Beach Bunny swimwear

Beach Bunny swimwear is described as setting trends rather than following them and this is what grabbed the attention of the fashion, media and celebrity worlds. Sports Illustrated dedicated more pages of its Swimsuit issue to Beach Bunny swimwear than any swimwear other line. This was then followed by celebs like Jessica Simpson, Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Bar Refael and Eva Longoria and many others

The success of Beach Bunny

Angela Chittenden says that the success of her business is due to her being willing to take risk and do what other swimwear designers aren’t doing but she also credits the team she has around her. This team includes her father, who works on the books, her sister leading the wholesale accounts and her passion for swimwear has rubbed off on her step daughter who has expressed an interest in getting involved. In addition to this she has a good group of girls around her in the office and in store

Trying to stay ahead of the trend is often difficult to do but Angela is a voracious traveller and spends a lot of her time looking for textures, colours, tones, hardware and fabrics she can incorporate into her designs.

Future of Beach Bunny

Angela is always thinking about growing the business and she’ll be opening retail stores in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Miami and Dubai and of this is helping Beach Bunny Swimwear quickly become an international brand.
